Century, the Swiss brand of watches and jewellery in Century sapphire, is proud to announce the official opening of its new Tokyo boutique in the prestigious Ginza district, on 24 June.

For this occasion, Century wanted to create a boudoir-style boutique where it could receive its prestigious clientele. To make this dream reality, Philip W.A. Klingenberg, CEO of the company, entrusted the project to his Century marketing and design team.

From outside, elegant dressing-table displays entice the curious client to explore. Once inside, she enters a precious jewel case where femininity is the watchword, with embroidered fabrics, openwork panels, tassels and trimmings… Several small drawers complete with keys beckon the visitor to discover Century‘s creations as though a jewellery box were about to disclose its hidden treasures.

This intimate boudoir wonderfully conveys brand‘s key values of modernity, luxury and romance. A veritable voyage through the world of Century, this boutique echoes the contemporary and timeless colours of the House. Skilfully proportioned noble materials, soft tones and precious textiles afford purity and warmth. The corporate off-white is proposed in an infinite palette of tones and materials from floor to ceiling. Small, spotlighted glass showcases set in the walls enhance each creation. This symmetrically-designed boutique, modelled on Century watches, allows clients to freely discover the different collections.

Extreme refinement is key - fine moulding underscores walls and showcases and the ensemble is accentuated by a delicate touch of fuchsia-coloured silk.
