As Official Timing Partner for the Marussia Virgin Racing Formula One team, the Swiss watch manufacturer Armin Strom is supporting and assisting new emerging talents like Robert Wickens who is recognised as being the brightest Canadian driving talent for two decades and on the right trajectory to Formula One. Following a strong start to the 2011 Formula Renault 3.5 Series season, Marussia Virgin Racing announced that it has signed Canada’s rising star to its 2011 Reserve Driver roster within the team’s Young Driver Programme.

In praise of his impressive performances this season, which ended with a final victory at the World Series FR3.5 in Barcelona, Armin Strom manufacture handed over an ARMIN Racing Chronograph matching the Marussia Virgin Racing colours, red and white.
