On November 17, Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted a dazzling party to officially inaugurate its new Boutique, located in the exclusive and fashionable Polanco district of Mexico City.
In keeping with its spirit of invention and creativity, Jaeger-LeCoultre created a special 3D animated movie projected on the façade of the Boutique.
For the ribbon-cutting ceremony Jérôme Lambert, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO and Franck Juhel, Managing Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre Latin America and Caribbean were joined by Mexican actress Jaydy Michel (wearing a Reverso snow-set Full Pavé). Her husband, international soccer star Rafa Marquez (pictured to the right), was wearing his Master Compressor Chronograph.
In celebration of the 80th anniversary of this iconic watch, Jaeger-LeCoultre decided to invite renowned artists to create exceptional personalised editions of the Reverso. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is recognised by watchmaking connoisseurs as an Art Deco icon that stands out from other watchmaking creations with a case that slides at the base and rotates completely on itself. It was perhaps this uniqueness and originality that drove Jaeger-LeCoultre to create a unique special edition linked to conceptual art that pays homage to the renowned Mexican painter, muralist, and engraver Guillermo Ceniceros.
This magnificent association takes shape in the impressive Grande Reverso 976 Guillermo Ceniceros Special Edition. The work of art engraved on the case-back of this special edition expresses two different elements: man’s duality from a modernistic perspective in the stainless-steel edition, and man in motion in the rose gold edition.
The first model of the GRANDE REVERSO 976 Guillermo Ceniceros Special Edition will feature a stainless-steel case with lacquered engraving on the back and will be limited to 50 pieces. The second edition will be produced in rose gold, featuring a fully engraved case-back, and will be limited to 10 pieces.
