Inspired by Christian Dior’s taste for grand balls, the Dior VIII Grand Bal collection, launched in 2011, is equipped with the “Dior Inversé” calibre, whose functional oscillating weight, placed on the dial, reproduces the swirl of a ball gown.

In 2012, Dior VIII is proposing new pieces in gold and black or white ceramic. Their bezels are adorned with baguette diamonds, while their oscillating weights, whose design is inspired by the Dior pleats, are made in jade or opal marquetry.
