Entwining two of its iconic hallmarks in one, Bulgari creates a graceful bracelet timepiece in the Serpenti Spiga.
Following the rich Bulgari traditions for jewellery and watchmaking, the new bracelet-watch beautifully encircles Bulgari heritage, as it does the wrist.
With the boldness of the Serpenti line and the legend of Spiga, Serpenti Spiga joins modern with ancient, supple with symbolic. In a combination of materials, techniques and design, the Serpenti Spiga winds up the ultimate in an iconic watch collection.

With striking juxtapositions that set precious metals with materials such as rubber, silk, enamel or ceramic, the House has enjoyed its reputation for choosing design over convention.
With almost three millennia of Rome’s history to draw upon, Bulgari incorporates symbols from its homeland past to inspire its modern designs. Coiled around such a history is the seductive serpent, a symbol for renewal that dates back to ancient Greek and Roman mythology.
Since the 1940s, the serpent has lived anew as Bulgari’s signature collection, the Serpenti. Whether interpreted in a realistic or geometrically abstract manner, Serpenti intertwines each Bulgari hallmark together: a love for colour, a juxtaposition of materials, a supple wearability, and avant-garde artisanal techniques.

In 2010 Bulgari’s Serpenti watches returned to the spotlight with a boldly innovative style that maintains the quality and uniqueness of Bulgari design and craftsmanship to become a peerless expression of contemporary elegance. Since then, the House has constantly revamped its iconic snake design through new timepieces, proving that the snake is an eternal symbol of Bulgari.

Rooted in brand heritage, and first harvested by Bulgari design in the 1990s, the iconic Spiga pattern has been incorporated in the newest jewellery-watches renditions.
Born of mythology and worshipped in ancient days, a stalk of wheat has held profound symbolism as well, representing fertility and prosperity – its likeness often entwined with marriage in ancient Greece and Rome.
Seeds are enclosed within a wheat stalk, thus the Spiga provides an edible metaphor for love: the power to grow is enclosed within itself, yet is also the source of life.

Contemporary in design, ancient in symbolism, the wheat stalk pattern on the Serpenti Spiga echoes infinity: the symbol of forever is incarnated into the bracelet itself. Meanwhile, it seductively coils as Serpenti, once or twice over, climbing the wrist like a sinewy snake. The distinctive Spiga pattern that traces the bracelet comes to a crest in a Serpenti snake head, a timely apex.

Though it is the combination of these symbolic icons, one representing seduction and the other sustenance, that is at the juxtaposed heart of Serpenti Spiga.
The Collection combines the mastery of women’s watchmaking. Featuring a Swiss-made quartz movement, the Serpenti Spiga keeps perfect time within its 35mm case of 18-ct pink gold or polished steel. Wound with a pink rubellite gemstone as its crown, the Serpenti Spiga adds that dash of Bulgari flair, the jewel to adorn its noble head.
Available in combinations of steel with white ceramic, steel, black ceramic with diamonds, pink gold, white ceramic with diamonds, or even a black ceramic, diamonds and pink-gold spiral that double coils the wrist, each member of the Serpenti Spiga family is strikingly attractive. White or black lacquer forms the sheen behind the hour, as time is marked by the handsome history of Roman numerals.
