Christian Bernard Group, specialised in the manufacture and distribution of watches and jewellery, has taken over the retail activities of the Golay Group in Europe.

This acquisition is part of Christian Bernard's globalisation strategy in terms of wholesale and also retail sales. For many years now, Christian Bernard operated a chain of jewellery stores in the United States.

The chain of stores now taken over comprises 163 points of sale under the name “Oro Vivo” in 4 European countries: Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal. This acquisition is a unique opportunity for the Christian Bernard Group, enabling it to:


 operate 50% of its activities overseas;

 strengthen its position as a major player in the jewellery and watch sectors on a European level;

 increase its competitiveness thanks to this new dimension.

This purchase does not alter the general strategy of the group, particularly on the French market; the Christian Bernard Group will actively continue its distribution policy with its retail partners.
