When movie magic meets the art of Haute Horlogerie

In 1997, the international public discovered Malaysian-born actress Michelle Yeoh starring alongside Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow never dies. Three years later, she dazzled the whole world, lighting up the magical film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon with her luminous talent. In Memoirs of a Geisha, produced by Stephen Speilberg and currently in cinemas, the magic shines through once again. A truly exceptional woman, Michelle Yeoh fascinates audiences by her roles in action and martial arts films, as well as her performances in a more classical vein. Since 2000, this wonderful actress has added another string to her bow by creating her own production company, Miythical Films, It is a tremendous honour for Audemars Piguet to present Michelle Yeoh as its brand ambassadress.
The recipient of numerous awards for her acting talent, Michelle was also voted Best Producer of the Year in 2002 by CineAsia. An altruist by nature, she has set herself the goal of supporting youthful talents and of promoting the Chinese film industry by producing top-quality movies. Her generosity is also displayed through her commitments to cancer research and the fight against AIDS, two causes to which she devotes the same energy that she breathes into each of her screen roles. Her willingness and her enthusiasm have won the admiration of Audemars Piguet.
In tribute to her graceful charm and beauty, the Manufacture in Le Brassus is dedicating a model from its latest ladies’ collection, Oak Leaves, to Michelle Yeoh. Issued in a limited edition of 100, the caseback of this exquisitely refined watch carries the signature of the actress.
