Fossil introduces new Twist Collection of automatic / quartz hybrid designs

With the launch of its Twist watch series, Fossil has combined the high-end luxury of an authentic automatic timepiece while delivering the accuracy and reliability of a quartz movement.
Each men’s and women’s watch in the Twist series features an automatic movement that can be viewed through a unique ‘window’ in the watch face. This mechanical movement powers the sweep second hand, while a battery driven quartz movement provides exacting accuracy in the hour and minute timekeeping. This revolutionary patent pending movement combination is housed in cases that call to mind far more expensive Swiss designs.
The men’s styles are available in bracelet and strap options with details like mechanical components in vivid colour and neutral tone dials. A feminine take on masculine design, the women’s styles are available in the brushed and shiny silver stainless steel bracelets to smooth, black leather straps. Round or rectangle cases feature mother-of-pearl dials in white, black or pale pink while the mechanical components are in gold tone, silver tone or both.
