Armin Strom will be showcasing some new collections at Baselworld 2008, where the young company will present four brand-new series of watches. This is the first Armin Strom brand collection with a specially designed movement assembly.



For decades, the name Armin Strom has stood for hand-skeletized watches – individually crafted masterpieces that are delivered by the master craftsman in person. The “grand tradition of skeleton timepieces” is now evolving into a brand. At Baselworld the company founded in Armin Strom’s name will be presenting a broader range of products for the first time. ”The craft of skeletizing will always remain an important facet of our business.
It inspires us to launch exclusive creations based on new technologies,” explains Serge Michel, CEO of Armin Strom AG.



The Armin Strom Brand
Baselworld will see the début of four Armin Strom series. In addition to the enhanced Bluechip open-engine models, two new lines have been added to the traditional skeletized series.
These include a completely new line called «Elegance», which consists of a ladies’ watch and a gentlemen’s watch. These smaller, more elegant models appeal to customers who find the Bluechip a little too large.

A retrograde date regulator watch, which was designed in house, is another innovation; this line is called “Elements”. The unisex models in this collection take their theme from the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air.



Dynamic Future.
“We are systematically building the Armin Strom brand and are aiming for independent growth," says Serge Michel. Serge Michel and Armin Strom are supported by a young, motivated team. Claude Greisler, designer and watchmaker, is responsible for product development and new creations.

Armin Strom AG has a solid foundation in other respects too: its majority shareholder is the well-known entrepreneur Willy Michel, a star in his own right in the Swiss business world.
