The metallization of the crystal is a Rado innovation and a distinctive feature of the brand since 1976. By making the crystal and the dial merge visually, the process reinforces the monochrome appearance of its models. With the Ceramica Jubilé collection, Rado is enhancing its metallization with colour, which is displayed in all its intensity, but also with a lighthearted dimension. Beneath the sapphire crystal treated in this way, the depth of the dial is accentuated. It shows off its variously coloured stones which, together with the metallized sapphire crystal that covers it entirely, provide a matching chromatic effect. Various shades of indigo, mint green, fuchsia, violet-aubergine or yellow-gold. The push-pieces hardly protrude. The counters and the date form circles set with sapphires, tsavorites or amethysts.
