Rolex Awards for Enterprise Winners [Video]

At a ceremony held at the Ecole Fédérale Polytechnique de Lausanne in Switzerland, five young entrepreneurs were awarded the first Rolex Awards for Enterprise: Young Laureates Programme. Hundreds of leading figures, including the British composer and record producer, Brian Eno, honoured the Young Laureates.

The 2010 winners, all aged between 18 and 30, are Jacob Colker from the United States, Reese Fernandez from the Philippines, Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu from Nigeria, Piyush Tewari from India and Bruktawit Tigabu from Ethiopia. The Young Laureates Programme seeks to foster a spirit of enterprise in the next generation by giving young people the financial support and recognition to tackle the challenges facing humanity with innovative projects.
