King Ludwig II inspires Inhorgenta Europe 2005

February 2005

Linderhof-Palace look for the West Entrance / New interior design for the exhibition halls

Inhorgenta

Inhorgenta Europe 2005 opens its doors between 25 and 28 February 2005 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. Awaiting trade visitors from all over the world is a spectacular reception – as they enter the West Entrance, it will be like stepping into a fairytale world of kings and palaces. Suspended above this main entrance will be a giant-sized tarpaulin, 23 metres wide and 16.5 metres high, printed with a photograph of Linderhof Palace in the Bavarian Alpine foreland. The main façade of Linderhof, one of the extravagant King Ludwig II´s famous palaces, will be in full view in all its new, restored glory. What better reception can visitors have to the most important trade fair for jewellery and watches in the EUı

This spectacular welcome is just the start of a brand new experience at Inhorgenta Europe. After passing the splendid palace façade, visitors can stop off at the new piano bar, also in the West Entrance, for a glass of bubbly and a relaxing musical interlude. Then it´s down to the real business of the fair, discovering the many new trends and innovations for 2005 from the world of jewellery, watches, clocks, diamonds, pearls and gemstones. The backdrop for this exciting adventure has been given a new look for next February: the 64,500 square metres in the six exhibition halls and entrance area will be awash with colour and experience.

The idea behind the new design concept is based on the four seasons: Visitors arrive in the entrance hall in the season of winter, then move into spring in the C halls, summer in the B halls and finally autumn in the A halls, before re-entering winter at the end of their tour. The different seasons will be reflected in the choice of carpet colour, in the design of the sitting areas and in other decorative elements, as well as in the colours of the flower arrangements.

Inhorgenta Europe´s exhibition director Armin Wittmann comments: “The different worlds of colour are not only a delight to the eye, they are also a valuable orientation tool for our exhibitors and trade visitors. This new atmosphere in the halls provides an ideal backdrop for a professional and pleasant working atmosphere.”

Inhorgenta Europe 2005 takes place from 25 to 28 February 2005 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.
