Ray actress stars in fall Movado ads

Actress Kerry Washington, who recently starred in Ray, will join Movado's international advertising campaign starting this fall.

Movado's latest campaign kicks off with an ad in Vogue's pivotal September fall fashion issue. The first Movado ads will appear on the back cover of the magazine and in various other September titles.

Washington played opposite Jamie Foxx, who starred as Charles in last year's Ray, the widely-acclaimed film about the life of musical legend Ray Charles. She won “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” at the NAACP Image Awards for her role as Charles' wife, Della.

Prior to Ray, Washington played the lead role opposite Anthony Mackie in Spike Lee's recent film,She Hate Me. She also appears this summer in the Fantastic Four, based on the Marvel Comics superheroes.
