Perrelet presents a premiere in its collection of timepieces for women with its Big Size Lunar Phase. This timepiece offers time management and lunar cycles on a mother-of-pearl dial. Developed exclusively for Perrelet, the new P-1030 calibre provides the hours, minutes, date and lunar phases on a starry sky that sparkles with diamonds set in the dial. This collection is limited to five hundred pieces in 2006 (including all versions).
In his tireless legendary quest for perpetual movement, Abraham-Louis Perrelet spent many long hours pondering the automatic winding system and observing, like many scientists, the flamboyant choreography of the moon. This perpetual cycle inspired him to harness the energy potential produced by the earth’s gravity.
Available in a round or a cushion-shaped case, the lunar phases collection comes in a wide variety of dial colours, exclusively in natural mother-of-pearl and set with diamonds. The entire collection is offered on a stingray strap or with a stainless steel bracelet.
