Milus, the prestigious Swiss brand for exquisite jewellery watches, celebrated the opening of its first flagship store at the new location in the renowned World-Wide House in Central, Hong Kong, in August. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony Mr Patrick Chau, Chairman of Peace Mark (Holdings) Ltd., Mr Tommy Leung, CEO of Peace Mark, Mr Kevin Tsang, CFO of Peace Mark, Mr Jan Edöcs, CEO of Milus International SA, together with special guests Ms Do Do Cheng, one of Hong Kong’s brightest film stars and Ms Ranee Kok, fashion designer and Milus brand ambassador, welcomed guests and officiated this momentous occasion. A highly personal presentation featured movie actress Mia Yan and top models Amanda Strang and Mikki Yau revealing some of the finest pieces from the Milus collection, while Ms Cheng, as Milus’ celebrity guest, was wearing the new Milus diamond decorated APIANA Joaillerie timepiece in 18 carat white gold with its blossom-like flourishing numerals in Art Nouveau style.

The sophisticated designed boutique features screens that display vivid visuals of various brand ambassadors as well as images of the watch and jewellery collections of Milus. The store’s minimalist but stylish monochromatic white interior design reflects the brand’s image of the sensual meaning of essential ‘luxury’: the luxury of being oneself. Cool blue lighting illuminates the Milus collection, which is inspired by the mythological names of the constellations – a theme that has been extended to the shop’s ceiling, which has been beautifully and artfully constructed to imitate a night sky full of stars. This is the ultimate flagship store wherein the design truly reflects the precision and detailed philosophy of the brand itself.
