Milus International SA Continues to Expand

Milus International SA announces its official entry into the U.S. market with the founding of its U.S.-based subsidiary Milus USA in Beverly Hills, CA. Mr. Jan Edöcs, CEO of Milus International SA, has appointed watch industry veteran Doron Basha as President and CEO of Milus USA.

With its headquarters in Beverly Hills, Milus USA will act as a subsidiary distributor to luxury retailers in the United States. Tourneau has already been appointed as the first authorized dealer, set to launch the collection in their primary locations including The Time Machine in New York City and The Time Dome in Las Vegas. “Our partnership with Tourneau is close; they are the pinnacle retailer for luxury watches and will always be an integral part of our business in the U.S.A.” said Mr. Basha.

This move into the U.S. market marks an important stage in the further development of the Milus brand. Created in 1919 in Bienne, the company boasts over 87 years of experience in the art of watchmaking. Since 2003 – the year the brand successfully relaunched its watch and jewelry collections – Milus has steadily been building its distribution network. With its expansion in 14 markets, including subsidiaries in Germany and Austria, Hong Kong and China – and now the U.S., Milus continues to make its mark on the watch industry. Milus additionally works with reputable local partners in the Middle East, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Thailand.

Mr. Basha holds over 27 years of experience in the watch and jewelry industries and is third generation in a well-known family of jewelers.
Prior to joining Milus USA, Mr. Basha served as the distributor for Meyers USA, and will be in transition for 90 days in order to insure a supportive period for the existing base of retail distributors.
