In 1983, Candino developed timepieces with moon phases and quartz technology. After almost 25 years of incorporating the phases of the moon display into its men’s collections, this function hasn’t gained any wrinkles. With more glamour than ever, the moon is back this year in a new women’s line. This collection, dedicated to women, has a number of functions which combine a fun and romantic design. Particular attention has also been paid to details and the choice of materials.
Clair de Lune
Through the hardened mineral crystal, the light reflects off the mother-of pearl and pearled dial with a discreet date at four o’clock. Original elements include different sized numbers at 6 and 12 as well as hands in the shape of crystals and set with SuperLuminova, which allows one to see the time even when the moon is not out. The case is in 316L steel with rounded angles and a curved caseback. The screws on the case are inset, allowing the lugs to blend with the leather strap, deployment buckle and lateral pushers. This model is available in a variety of colours – white, plum, pink, lilac, apple green and black.
