Celebrity chef Mario Batali and Ernst Benz partner in creation of exclusive collection

Swiss watch manufacturer Ernst Benz has partnered with iconic chef and restaurateur Mario Batali to create a limited edition series of timepieces to benefit the Food Bank For New York City. The Mario Batali Limited Edition Ernst Benz Great Circle Automatic is an enhanced version of the original design, featuring accents in Batali’s standout signature orange colour. Mario Batali has personally collaborated with Leonid Khankin, Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer of the Ernst Benz brand, to design and produce the exclusive collection of timepieces. “My partnership with Ernst Benz is borne out of my love to celebrate life with simple things of the highest quality, this new watch created by my friend Leonid Khankin is exactly that. To bring art and public service together is a privilege I will never squander, the opportunity to help the Food Bank For New York City provide food for over a quarter million meals A DAY in NYC is a joyous part of my celebration,” says Batali. This special series of timepieces will be made available in three Great Circle sizes: 36mm, 40mm and 47mm, each size limited and numbered to 250. Batali and Khankin will personally launch the collection at an exclusive event at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
