Formex Watch LTD: Official timekeeper of the Spengler Cup, Davos

November 2007

Lengnau-based Formex Watch LTD, the inventor of the patented active case suspension system, is the official timekeeper of the Spengler Cup in Davos. With this engagement, the Watch Company underlines its affinity towards sports.

Formex Watch LTD has gained worldwide renown as a manufacturer of timepieces with a sporty touch and, not for the first time, is prominently positioned in ice hockey. Already when gaining the title of Swiss champion, the players of the HC Davos were offered a robust Formex watch. Unsurprisingly, Formex LTD. now assumes the responsibility of acting as an official timekeeper during the 81st Spengler Cup.

Die hockey matches of the Spengler Cup take place in the Vaillant arena in Davos. For the 46th time, Swiss television is present at the Spengler Cup in Davos and will broadcast all the games live. Ferdinand Grädel, CEO Formex Watch LTD: “Formex is closely linked with Davos and has had excellent relations with the hockey scene for many years. The Spengler Cup perfectly suits our concept. Our robust watches are conceived for sportsmen who like the outstanding. We are proud to be part of a sports event of the importance of the Spengler Cup.”
