Winner’s Cup Team to receive Reactor Limited Edition sport performance watch with diamonds

Southern California-based Reactor, maker of the world’s most durable and progressive sport watches, is proud to announce that they have been chosen as the official timing sponsor for the 2008 Miller High Life Professional Tarpon Tournament Series (PTTS), presented by Century Boats. The company sponsors a wide variety of events throughout the year, testing the limits of their product and helping to support the active lifestyles their customers enjoy. This is the first year that Reactor has participated in this unique event, and the company is providing a special Limited Edition, one-of-a-kind Reactor sport performance watch with diamonds to the Winner’s Cup Team Boat members. The event runs every Saturday from May 18 to June 15, 2008 in Boca Grande Pass, Florida, the Tarpon Fishing Capitol of the world.

“We are thrilled and honored to be the official timing sponsor for this action-packed, world class fishing competition,” said Reactor Founder and Owner, Jimmy Olmes. “It is most significant that PTTS’ organizers and primary title sponsors have provided this exciting venue to promote our company and products on this national TV broadcast series. The exposure alone is phenomenal, and it will be great to see our watches, which are built to withstand the rigors of extreme water sports, really get put to the test.”

PTTS television was the highest rated outdoor show in 2007 in Florida, and for 2008 will be available in over 35 million homes throughout North America. The “Professional Tarpon Tournament Series” TV show is a combination of NASCAR racing, NFL Football and Discovery Channel’s “Wild,” with 50 teams battling 200 lb. tarpon and occasional hammerhead sharks in Boca Grande Pass. The Tarpon Anglers Club, which organizes the tournament, strives to protect their resource through partnerships with Mote Marine Laboratory and the Florida Wildlife Research Institute, to ensure the health of the environment and the species.
Through PTTS partnerships, on site researchers collect data from fish caught during PTTS events, furthering research efforts so all can gain a better understanding of the tarpon. The series of one hour shows will air starting July 1 on Sun Sports.
Unique styling and an uncompromising commitment to quality are what set Reactor Watch apart from the crowded watch market. Founded in 2003 by veteran sport watch guru Jimmy Olmes, Reactor’s goal is to make “the best built performance sport watch …period.” Every Reactor model is built to meet or exceed demanding Swiss standards while offering an unprecedented value in fine watches.
