Boucheron launches U.S. e-commerce Web site

French jewelry house Boucheron has extended its e-commerce operations with a U.S. Web site.

The brand's online shopping services had previously been available only in Europe.

, visitors can shop from the comfort of their own homes, their offices or anywhere of their choosing.

Boucheron has put its entire collection of jewelry, timepieces and perfume on the site in the effort to reproduce the ambiance of its brick-and-mortar boutiques.

Among the online offerings are everything from a $500 wedding band to a $49,000 diamond necklace. Visitors can also design their own engagement rings or customize pieces such as watch straps and cuff links.
