Tutima’s new Grand Classic Alpha

April 2009

Tutima

A stunning new arrival from Tutima, the Grand Classic Alpha, is a Limited Edition timepiece in 18 carat rose gold equipped with a Valjoux 7754 chronograph movement. As well as the standard chronograph functions, the self-winding movement also features UTC, which stands for ‘coordinated universal time’, which refers to a time zone based on the prime meridian which runs through Greenwich.
The traditional fluted bezel of Tutima watches is in black ceramic on this model which, with its distinctive red marker, offers a distinctive contrast to the rose gold case, push button and crown. The watch has luminous hour markers and hands and sapphire crystals front and back. The crystal case back has a special engraving of the Tutima ‘T’ logo and ‘1927’, the year in which the history of Tutima began in the German watchmaking town of GlashÜtte in Saxony.
This handsome Limited Edition timepiece is available to just 100 watch connoisseurs worldwide.
