The scientific days whose program adds to the attractiveness of EPHJ-EPMT and participates in its international influence, are now an unmissable appointment. Under the aegis of the EPFL, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the afternoon of Tuesday, June 8 and the morning of Wednesday, June 9, are placed under the central theme of “Research and applications in laboratory automation.”

Supported by the Swiss Agency for the promotion of innovation (CTI), a federal structure encouraging for more than 60 years the transfer of knowledge and technology between universities and businesses/firms, Swisslaser.net is the second conference organizer on the agenda of the EPHJ-EPMT scientific days. During the morning of Thursday, June 10, 2010, leading experts from this universe so implemented in the machinery equipment of companies that are active in the professional environments of watchmaking-jewelry and microtechnology, will meet the expectations of audiences who wish to explore the topic «Laser and Photonics.»

Counterfeiting and micro-assembly factories, colloquiums
In collaboration with Micronarc, Micro-nanotech Cluster of Western Switzerland, and with the liaison program Alliance, a platform bringing together 6,000 researchers from all universities in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino, the afternoon of Thursday, June 10 will be followed by an array of leading authorities in both the legal approach to the problem of counterfeiting and in terms of new technologies used to fight against this scourge.

As a bonus, concrete solutions will emerge, with Prooftag, the ’bubbles’ option chosen by the Parmigiani manufacture, or the path of micro- and nano-structured footprints developed by the CSEM, Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology. Not to mention the solutions Global Security Solutions advocated by U-NICA.
On Friday, June 11, in the morning, Micronarc, this time in collaboration with DTF (DeskTop Factory), will address the question of assembly in micro-factories with the participation of several scientists coming specially from Japan.
