Over 18% increase in visitors for nearly 550 exhibitors from the watchmaking-jewellery and microtechnologies professional environments.

During four days, the EPHJ-EPMT, the only annual event dedicated to the fields of high precision that combines watchmaking and all micro-nanotechnology has kept its promises. Increasingly popular, the international event closes on an encouraging result, indicating that the actors of these branches demonstrate an intact determination and an extraordinary creativity.

Characterized by its convivial and studious atmosphere, the show transforms the Exhibition Center of Beaulieu Lausanne in a now unavoidable trade and technological exchange platform.

The scientific dimension of the event was even more noticeable this year that major institutions were present: the EPFL, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, showed mini-robots from seven laboratories while a program of daily conferences brought together 40 speakers, under the aegis of Micronarc, Alliance, DTF, Swisslaser.net and the EPFL.

The new configuration, that brings together the two sectors in a single two floor hall, has favoured the transfer of technology and transition between the professional environments of watchmaking-jewellery and microtechnologies. It has also enabled to increase the surfaces and number of exhibitors who already attested in their great majority their intention to attend next year.
