On 1 October, a new "Hour Passion" watch and jewellery retail outlet opened for passengers using the International Terminal at Düsseldorf Airport (Pier C). With this new store, Tech-Airport again proposes its attractive, creative boutique concept - the 29th in its network and the first in Germany - making full use of its expertise in serving the travelling public.
Housed in a 64 square-metre space, it boasts an ultra-modern design, with lacquered wall-coverings, glass structural elements and carbon counters and the clever lighting really shows up the watches and jewellery in the window displays. The whole Swatch collection is mounted on the wall for ease of choice.
The full collection is on display in this boutique that offers tempting treats for all ages and styles, with many well-known and eye-catching brands including Swatch, Flik-Flak, Timberland, Ti Sento, Calvin Klein watches and jewellery, Tissot, Longines and Chopard. There is also a selection of jewellery to suit all tastes. A warm, friendly reception awaits customers entering the boutique. They are personally welcomed and assisted with help and advice.
"Tech-Airport Holding SAS", a division of the Swatch Group was established in 2004 and specialises in airport retailing. It already has outlets in six European and Asian airports: Paris Roissy and Orly (FR), Nice Côte d’Azur (FR), Nantes Atlantique (FR), Geneva (CH) and Changi (SG). Its boutiques operate under the Hour Passion, Omega and Swatch trade names, and are the leading European watch and jewellery airport retailers.
Other boutiques are already in the pipeline, including one in Düsseldorf Terminal A and a new venture in the brand new Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport (IR).
