Summary of the Forum de la Haute Horlogerie

For its third forum, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie has chosen “Time to Act” as the theme. Time to act in a world where distribution channels, communication resources, innovative processes, and economic balances are undergoing profound changes.

“For three years now, this forum that we devised with Franco Cologni has proposed to start from a broad view of the world economic, social and philosophical situation, in order to arrive at the more specific questions all of us are asking ourselves today in our profession and our daily life. We all – and perhaps even more so in Fine Watchmaking – have a tendency to stick to cultivating our own gifts, just when, today, limits are being pushed, stakes are global and issues cross-disciplinary.”

It was in these terms that Fabienne Lupo, CEO of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), welcomed forum participants. This event, the third of its kind, offers a unique day for reflection and exchanges between professionals. The theme for the day was “Time to Act.”
