June 2013

Antiquorum is delighted to present a number of classic, important and highly collectible Patek Philippe chronograph wristwatches in its upcoming June 22nd auction in Hong Kong.

Among the many complications that Patek Philippe offers, the chronograph has long been considered the most significant. Beginning in 1986, Patek Philippe launched a series of chronograph wristwatches, including the 3970, 5970 collections – chronographs with a perpetual calendar, and the 5004 – chronographs with split- seconds and perpetual calendar. Recognized as some of the most important chronographs ever produced, these models continue to be highly coveted by collectors and investors alike.

Chronographs exemplify horological art and craftsmanship at its best. Each small detail reveals the finest watchmaking traditions, whether from the movements and mechanism, the individual components or actual operation,” said, Julien Schaerer, Managing Director & Watch Expert, Antiquorum Geneva. He continued, “We are pleased to present a number of rare and highly sought-after Patek Philippe chronographs in our upcoming June 22nd auction in Hong Kong.”
