Two new limited editions in JeanRichard’s Terrascope collection pay tribute to the most emblematic members of the Mexican animal kingdom, the Golden Eagle and the Jaguar.

Both animals have been symbols commanding the greatest respect in Mexico since the pre-Hispanic era and it is believed that the Golden Eagle and the Jaguar represented respectively light and darkness in Aztec mythology.

The Golden Eagle and the Jaguar are two species whose role is vital for the normal functioning of the ecosystems that they live in. They help to maintain the population balance of other species with whom they share their habitat. Both animals have to achieve extraordinary things to be able to adapt to an ever-changing world.

The first version of this Limited Edition, the Golden Eagle Terrascope, dedicated to the Mexican national symbol, displays a black camouflage-style satin finish. At the bottom of the dial is a very delicate engraving depicting the most significant features of this potent bird of prey.

The Terrascope version inspired by the Jaguar has the same camouflage-style satin finish, but this time in grey. At 6 o’clock there is a silhouette showing the features of this legendary cat.

Both versions are limited to 50 individually numbered pieces and come with a rubber strap, black and grey respectively, and with a finely-ribbed surface, the JR signature and a folding buckle. They are powered by the self-winding JR60 movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours, and are water resistant to 100 metres.

With this Limited Edition, JEANRICHARD honours, and also provides financial support to the Fundación Refugio Salvaje (Wildlife Refugee Foundation), which on a daily basis is dedicated to protecting these legendary animals that are now in danger of extinction.
