Ballet 422 is an unembellished vérité portrait of a process that has never before been documented at New York City Ballet in its entirety. The film is directed by Jody Lee Lipes.

Mastery of Movement
In conjunction with the sponsorship of Ballet 422, Vacheron Constantin and New York City Ballet have produced a short film titled Mastery of Movement: Vacheron Constantin and New York City Ballet.
In Mastery of Movement, NYCB Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins visits the Vacheron Constantin workshops and explores the parallels between watchmaking and choreography.
Mastery of Movement unveils the worlds of watchmaking and ballet from behind the scenes, highlighting the dedication to precision and beauty that these time-honored arts share. The film combines an insider’s look at the Vacheron Constantin manufacture interspersed with excerpts of Ballet 422.
