Jaeger-LeCoultre partners with Los Angeles Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival®

For close to a decade Jaeger-LeCoultre has established a longstanding connection with the film industry.
Today Jaeger-LeCoultre further supports the world of cinema by partnering with two major film festivals in North America: the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.

From June 11th to 19th, 2014, Jaeger-LeCoultre will honor filmmaking at the 20th Los Angeles Film Festival and give their “Glory to the filmmaker” Award during the “Women Call the Shots: A Celebration of Women Directors and Showrunners” event on June 14th, a tribute to women directors and showrunners who are changing the stories on the screen and the statistics in Hollywood with their contributions.

This year, filmmaker Lisa Cholodenko (The Kids Are All Rright, Laurel Canyon, High Art) who has also been selected to serve as guest director of the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival, will receive the first “Glory to the filmmaker” Award.

Jaeger-LeCoultre will also sponsor the 39th Toronto International Film Festival from September 4th to 14th, 2014, as the Official Sponsor of Timepieces of the Festival to celebrate the best of International and Canadian cinema and embrace creative and cultural discovery through the moving image.

A special highlight of the festival supported by Jaeger-LeCoultre will be given to the TIFF Rising Stars, an initiative that immerses four selected actors in a series of public events and private industry meetings at the Festival.
Previous TIFF Rising Stars include Sarah Gadon, Katie Boland, Tatiana Maslany, Evelyne Brochu and Megan Park.
