Serena, who was wearing her Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore whilst playing during the whole 2014 season, has been known for her unique dominance of women’s tennis for almost two decades and actually won her first major championship at the US tournament in 1999 when she was only 17.
She has then held all four majors at once for a so-called “Serena Slam” in 2002-3.
During her amazing career Serena has won 64 singles championships, 22 doubles championships, and was also Gold-Medalist at the 2000 (doubles), 2008 (doubles), and 2012 (singles and doubles) Olympics.

Swiss Haute Horlogerie brand Audemars Piguet is proud to count astounding athlete Serena as its new friend who perfectly embodies its philosophy “To break the rules, you must first master them”, and was thrilled to welcome her for her first visit at the Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux – Switzerland earlier this year.
