Timberland embarks on adventure

Timberland's latest outdoor performance watch is available just in time for an adventure-filled summer. Named `Rapid', this watch is ready to embark on your wildest excursions. Whether exploring high in the mountains or down on the beaches, Rapid is perfect for risk-takers tackling rough waters and harsh terrain.

Inspired by the shape and appeal of a kayak, Rapid can meet any obstacle — it is not only water-resistant, but the soft polyurethane housing of the case and the polyurethane strap make this watch rock-resistant as well.

Rapid is also both functional and simple for the adventurer on the go, since its `I-control' analog-digital movement allows all digital functions to be controlled by one crown - changing modes for time, calendar, chrono, timers and alarm. And if ever tempted to go to the extremes after hours, this watch is equipped with Indiglo, controlled from the same single crown.

Aside from durability, Rapid is nothing shy of stylish. Manufactured with a dual injection mold, the colors of this watch are tightly pieced together giving it a unique and trendy look. The customer can choose from three color combinations: orange with black, dark gray with light gray, and black with dark gray. The
strap is complete with an easily adjustable locking mechanism, concealing the metal buckle.

All Timberland watches are water-resistant to either 50 or 100 meters, have hypoallergenic stainless steel cases and case backs, lenses made with scratch-resistant mineral glass and feature the Timberland tree logo etched in all crowns and case backs. All bracelets are made of stainless steel and only water resistant leather is used for all straps. Screw crowns are used in all watches except for the watches with push-crown backlighting features.
