Zenith opens its doors... permanently

How about a watch factory that anyone could visit (almost) anytime? Zenith, in partnership with Neuchâtel Tourism, launched a unique project in order to promote the Swiss watch industry and make it more attractive for tourists coming from all over the world.

Since last week, any watch aficionado can take a unique and original guided tour through the Zenith manufacture and learn more about the history, hidden treasures and each step of the watchmaking process - from technical development to component production through to movement assembly.

These secrets are indeed no longer reserved to lucky journalists, customers or retailers...

This initiative, baptized «LE MONDE ÉTOILÉ DE ZENITH», is the first in the world to be opened to the wider public. The project offers an exciting 3 hours tour every Friday morning at a reasonable price of CHF 40,00 per person.

This is an invitation for the general public to discover the watchmaking universe in a dynamic and entertaining way, revealing the inner workings of a factory uniting around 80 watchmaking professions under its roof.

Will it foster other similar initiatives in the watch world?
