MeisterSinger introduces the Edition Passage limited series

The German brand, synonymous with its single-hand watches, welcomes another new dial design that conveys a deeper meaning, illustrating how time holds up a mirror to us.

W

ith a clear, functional design language and the deliberate omission of a minute and second hand, MeisterSinger focuses on what is important and – as every wearer of a MeisterSinger watch can testify – encourages a self-determined and pleasurable approach to time. The Edition Passage, which is limited to 100 pieces, shows you exactly how much time passes every day.

In addition to the 12 hour markers arranged in a circle around the ivory-coloured dial, there are two further coloured circles of numerals. The red numeral circle in the middle shows the minutes of the hour, while the inner blue numeral circle shows the seconds. Who would have thought that there are 720 minutes or 43,200 seconds in 12 hours – our precious lifetime is limited and there to be enjoyed. The hand that has been heat-treated in a complex process to give it its blue color moves around the dial in the usual serene MeisterSinger manner.

The passage of time can be seen in the 43 mm case of the MeisterSinger №03 classic watch. The precise SW200 Swiss automatic movement features a gold-plated rotor. It supplies the watch with a 38-hour power reserve and can be viewed through the glass exhibition back. Engraved next to the name of the Edition is the individual number of the watch. The watch features a soft brown vintage saddle leather strap.

Like all watches from MeisterSinger, the Edition Passage is a harmonious and balanced over-all composition featuring a dial concept with a deeper meaning – for people who appreciate something truly special. Without a doubt a talking piece in a class of its own.
