Piaget opens first West Coast boutique in the US

July 2008

Fine-jewelry and timepiece manufacturer Piaget opened a boutique in Southern California's upscale South Coast Plaza, marking the company's first retail location on the West Coast.

Located in one of the shopping center's most prestigious sections, the new boutique follows Piaget's global retail concept of clean lines, dark and light Alpi wood, leather accents, blue-black mirror and grey Cosica metal finishes—all conveying a sense of modern classicism.

Measuring just under 1,000 square feet, the boutique features 10 exterior display windows, 12 interior display windows and is the first boutique in the United States that features a browse-around bay showcase consisting of eight presentation modules, according to the company.

Two semi-private seating areas are designed to provide clients a more personal, exclusive experience.

The boutique opening marked the company's debut of its new Paris-New York Collection, which features jewellery and timepieces inspired by icons of the cities such as the Eiffel Tower, the Chrysler Building and the Statue of Liberty.

In addition to the new collection, luxury consumers now have access to Piaget's full collection, including boutique-exclusive items and special limited-edition collector's pieces.
