Longines King George V Gold Cup

The Royal International Horse Show (GBR), where Longines was the official partner and timekeeper for the sixth time in a row, has lived up to its expectations.

The prestigious Longines King George V Gold Cup was awarded to Holger Wulschner (GER), on Clausen, followed by Pieter Devos (BEL) and Geoff Billington (GBR). The Longines Classic was won by Patrik Spits (BEL) on Sherlock K.

At the fifth stage of the restyled Longines Press Award for Elegance, the following female and male riders were the most performing in Hickstead:

Female horserider:
Nicole Shahinian-Simpson (USA)

Male horserider:
Denis Lynch (IRL)

These two riders won precious points for the Longines Press Award for Elegance, which will be awarded at the CSIO Barcelona on September 19th, 2008. Each winner will receive a trophy, a set of two Longines watches and a cheque for CHF 20,000.
