12th Crew with Fortis watches to the ISS

On 1st.October 2005 the 12th crew will lift off from the launch pad in Baikonur to the ISS (International Space Station) and Fortis watches will be timing the count down. The chief of the Federal Space Agency of Russia Mr. Perminov, will hand over the new Fortis Chronographs two days before the launch to the crew members (William McAthur USA, Valeri Tokarev, Russia and Gregory Olsen, USA tourist astronaut).

From Star City Training Centre for Astronauts and Cosmonauts Colonel Yuri Bogoroditsky visited Fortis in Grenchen, to examine the new Crew Watch before the official use during the upcoming space mission. As a guest of honour in Grenchen, Yuri Bogoroditsky was presented with the silver medal of the town and the historic Grenchen book by the mayor and member of parliament Boris Banga in Bern.
