Parmigiani Fleurier has decided that music and jazz will play a part in its event-driven communication strategy and is sponsoring the Montreux Jazz Festival Worldwide in 2006. Since 2005, the famous music festival has been marketed internationally, enabling a number of large towns worldwide to play host to a music scene which will welcome a wide range of artists, from the greatest music legends to the latest up-and-coming bands.

Marrakech will play host to the Montreux Jazz Festival for the first time from the 3rd to the 5th November 2006. Officially revealed as the venue before the authorities of the imperial city and the Montreux Jazz Festival organisation committee, the creation of the Montreux Jazz Festival in Marrakech was celebrated in style when Claude Nobs hosted a dinner at his chalet overlooking the Riviera.
