Genthod – The 10th edition of the WPHH (World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie) from April 15th – 22nd 2007 was tremendously successful.

The seven brands of the Group: Franck Muller Genève, Pierre Kunz, ECW, Rodolphe, Barthelay, Backes & Strauss and Martin Braun unveiled their new collections in over 4’500m2, especially built on the Watchland main site for the occasion.



The only Geneva-based watch show open to the public, during seven days the exhibition welcomed over 6'000 visitors, which represents a growth of over 20% compared to 2006, and 550 international journalists. The location is unique for a watch show, almost fairytale-like with its castle, its gorgeous park and its breathtaking view on Lake Geneva and the Mont Blanc.

The exclusive novelties presented at the WPHH have once again proved the horological know-how both in terms of complications and unmatched prestige.

A remarkable business review
The sales turnover for the Franck Muller brand has increased by 2 digits; it has doubled for the Rodolphe brand, which has beaten all records. Martin Braun and Backes & Strauss, two brands which have recently joined the Group and participated for the first time to the WPHH, have both been well-received and have sold beyond their objectives. Pierre Kunz’s sales have also grown and ECW and Barthelay pursue their development.

The show reached its climax on Wednesday April 18th with a gala dinner. 1'400 VIP guests were welcomed by the Vieux Grenadiers to a grand evening. Sir Tom Jones gave a private and exclusive evening and sang his renowned repertoire. Guests included Philippe Senderos, Orianne Collins, Nadine Thalmann (Miss Beauté romande), Pierre-François Unger, Mark Muller, Carlo Lamprecht and many others danced until 3 o’clock in the morning.

The next edition of the WPHH will be held from April 6th to April 13th, 2008. A prominent show not to be missed for the professionals and aficionados of haute horlogerie.
