Recently Girard-Perregaux invited one hundred journalists to the Grand Opening of its new boutique in Beijing. During the press conference, Mr Luigi Macaluso, President of Girard-Perregaux, expressed its pride to inaugurate this Boutique. Indeed, this opening testifies the importance the Brand attaches to China.
After successfully entering the Chinese market in 2003, the watch company underlines its will to develop its presence in this country. This boutique is symbolic: it is the third in the world for the Brand, after Gstaad in Switzerland and Mumbaï in India. Girard-Perregaux chooses with the greatest care its distribution network. The quality of this network must reflect the exclusivity of the prestigious collections.
Together with Girard-Perregaux’s partners in China, Mr Nash Benjamin, CEO of FJ Benjamin, and Harmony Group, Luigi Macaluso welcomed the journalists in the boutique where they discovered the pure design and its warm atmosphere. The area reflects the spirit of the authentic Manufacture and synthesises its values: traditional know-how and modernity, innovation and emotion. Formal simplicity and contemporary materials are key codes used in the first Boutique of Gstaad and developed in this new shop, while adapted to the Pekinese clients. This elegant and sober architecture enhances the display of the collections, including grand complications.
To celebrate this event, Girard-Perregaux organised the same day a Gala Dinner which gathered VIPs and media representatives. This exceptional evening gave the guests the occasion to admire some extraordinary Girard-Perregaux’s timepieces.
