The Jury, assembled by the Swiss magazine Montres Passion, composed of watchmaking professionals, selected about forty finalists, already chosen from more than a hundred novelties that had appeared between September 2007 and December 2008. These finalist models were displayed online for the appreciation of the public. The vote took place from 29 September to 19 October, and it was the “Diamond Flower by Perrelet” model, which attracted the majority of votes and so took the Swiss Public Award.
