Obaku Harmony is a fairly new watch company from Denmark - it was founded in 2007 – and has quickly found success with its collection in 20 countries.
The harmony and simplicity of style, so much a part of the Scandinavian culture is to be seen here in the brand’s watches – ‘an oasis of calm, balance and harmony in the midst of a world in constant movement’, as the company states.
As Thomas Troelstrup, Obaku’s General Manager explains, “We see that people want to bring more simplicity and time for devotion back into their lives. It is the exact same thought that is at the core of our watch design: get rid of everything that is not really needed – what remains are the bare essentials in their pure, harmonious and simple form.”
These two chornographs – the Obaku Confidence Watch, designed by Christian Mikklesen and the Obaku Harmony designed by Lau LiengÅrd Ruge – are perfect examples of the brand’s elegant timepieces..
