The new Anniversary timepiece Octa Perpétuelle features a prestigious perpetual calendar. The limited Anniversary edition of 99 pieces has been exclusively created to celebrate the the F.P.Journe Boutiques' network around the world with the 5th Anniversary of the first Boutique in Tokyo.
The event opening speech was presented by His Excellency, the Swiss Ambassador in Japan, Mr. Paul Fivat. After that, François-Paul Journe presented in World Première the new model Octa Perpetuelle in front of a small scale replica of the flowered clock of the Geneva's English Garden.
In 2001, F.P.Journe presented the OCTA collection composed of mechanical wristwatches with automatic winding featuring an exceptional power reserve of 5 days (120h), all of which with the same case thickness regardless of the complication. The Octa Perpétuelle, 8th OCTA creation, enriches the collection of the self-winding calibre signed F.P.Journe - Invenit et Fecit.
This creation featuring a perpetual calendar was expected by the numerous collectors present that evening. The guest's comments received during the presentation of the collection confirmed the creative genius and innovative technical skills of the watchmaker from Switzerland.
