Hublot fought off strong competition from such illustreous names as Hermès, Bottega Veneta, Ermenegildo Zegna, and The Peninsula Hotels, all major international names and leaders in their perspective fields for many years. This Award is a reflection of the unquestionable impact that Hublot has made in the luxury watch market and confirms its place amongst luxury industry leaders.
Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot, declares: “This year has been full of excitement and emotion for me and everyone at Hublot. We began production of our in-house UNICO movement together with Grande Complications such as our Minute Repeater and Tourbillon movements. The Walpole Awards took place at Banqueting House in London’s Whitehall, with around 500 of the international luxury sector’s opinion leaders in attendance. Walpole British Luxury is a not-for-profit organisation whose equivalent associations are the Comité Colbert in France and the Fondazione Altagamma in Italy.
