Unusual and interesting, Alexander Shorokhoff’s new watches were very different in their design compared with other brands present at the "Munichtime" exhibition earlier this month.
The clear and attractive design of the dial directs the attention to the three big figures 60, 40 and 20, presenting themselves against the background in cool colours. The hour markers have been omitted but the time can nevertheless be read easily. The avant-garde red colour was applied in an unobtrusive manner. All in all: the modern dials together with the hands shaped in the style of the last century, the elegant cases and the genuine natural leather straps create a quite courageous and very interesting new style in the watch industry justly called avant-garde.

Regardless of this new line of design Alexander Shorokhov in his heart remains true to the tradition of high-valued watchmaking. All mechanical movements, whether chronographs, regulators or automatic, are carefully revised, refined and partly hand engraved. The see-through case backs with sapphire crystal allows a view of the “beauties” made by the "Alexander Shorokhoff" watch manufacturer.
The top hit of the Avantgarde line is another watch model called "Lady Avantgarde". This is not only an avant-garde watch, but almost a work of art. It remembers Gaudi or Hundertwasser, but also Kandinsky und Malevich.
The design of this model is cheeky and provocative, but at the same time innovative, self-confident and very attractive. A lot of colours on the dial do not cause any chaos.
The "Lady Avantgarde" is a limited edition of only 500 pieces.
