The Group Franck Muller clarifies the statement dated 7th January 2004 made by Mr Jean-Claude Biver and the Swatch Group: Franck Muller Watchland S.A. is not concerned by the collaboration between Mr Biver and Mr Muller, because the two men will collaborate on a personal basis.

Also, Franck Muller Watchland S.A.'s three administrators, Vartan Sirmakes, Didier Decker and Miguel Payró, have announced that they will not comment the affair's developments any longer.
