At the opening ceremony for this 36th Hublot boutique, Ilie Nastase, one of the world’s greatest tennis legends, joined Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver, and Time Products Chairman Marcus Margulies, to unveil the Nastie Bang.

Ilie Nastase was the ATP ranking’s first Number 1 tennis player, holding the top position for the first 40 consecutive weeks. Uniquely gifted, ‘Nasty’ brought a breath of fresh air to tennis, revolutionizing the game’s potential for show through a sense of artistry on the court, good-humored provocation and true fair play that captured the imagination of thousands and inspired as many to take up the sport.

An homage to Ilie Nastase, the Nastie Bang is a special edition of only 132 pieces. Why 132? In honor of the 132 titles Ilie Nastase won in his career!
