Europa Star’s editors Sophie Furley and Keith Strandberg were delighted to be the guests of Bremont this weekend in the UK where they got to see the British watchmaker’s new P51 timepiece firsthand, as well as witness the spectacular 1944 Mustang WWII aircraft P-51K-10, also christened “Fragile but Agile”, in action at the Duxford Airshow. This U.S. fighter plane has been meticulously restored and some of the original aluminium parts have been integrated into the dial and the movement of the brand’s new P-51 chronograph chronometer.

Other surprises during the weekend included accompanying the brand’s owners, Nick and Giles English, on a special delivery to an RAF squadron, who were happy to speak with us about their love for watches and their collaboration with Bremont to design their own squadron collection.
