The Galet Classic by Laurent Ferrier is now the most precise chronometer ever certified by the Besançon Observatory since 2006. Model no. 35, fitted with the double balance spring tourbillon calibre FBN 916.01 recently confirmed the exceptional performance of its adjustment with the best results measured at the observatory, showing an average daily rate variation of 1.29 seconds (the official benchmark for a chronometer is between -4 and +6 seconds).

The Galet Classic is now also available with a red-gold case with an ivory-coloured grand feu enamel dial. The assegai-shaped hands point to painted Roman numerals. On the seconds counter, the flange is bevelled and polished by hand using a chisel.
