Just three weeks after the 2012 Show closed, two thirds of its exhibitors have already booked a stand for 2013. In particular, over 300 horology subcontractor exhibitors have already confirmed that they will be back next year. This unprecedented early renewal rate is a clear marker of high exhibitor confidence in this Show, which broke all its previous records in 2012.

Looking back over the event, and after analysing satisfaction survey feedback, it is clear that the 2012 EPHJ-EPMT-SMT Trade Show was a resounding success. “Our decision to move to Geneva has been fully justified; indeed the impact of this move exceeded all our expectations,” says Olivier Saenger. “Visitor numbers increased by over 30%, generating significant business opportunities for all our exhibitors. This is their primary objective in taking part.”

As an immediate result of this obvious success, many of the exhibitors present in Geneva have already confirmed their presence next year. Indeed, two thirds of 2012 exhibitors have already booked their stand for 2013, and over 300 EPHJ exhibitors will be back next year.

“This is an extremely strong vote of confidence, given the current context,” states André Colard. “We have clearly shown all market players that our Trade Show is both relevant and sustainable. Behind all the words and publicity lies a concrete reality: we have clearly demonstrated that our strategy was the best way to attract more visitors, and thus generate more business opportunities.”

Initial data analyses show that this year’s 14,000 visitors came to Geneva from far and wide: from across Europe, North America and the Far East. The association with micro-technology exhibitors also generated positive synergies. We now know for certain that visitors to EPMT stands are equally interested in EPHJ exhibitors, and vice versa. The same is true for visitors to SwissMedtech, the technological applications of which have long been leveraged by watchmaking subcontractors.

The next EPHJ-EPMT-SMT Trade Show will be held from 11 to 14 June 2013.
